Booked surveys
Free residential surveys carry no cancellation fee — let us know whenever you can, ideally before the technician leaves the office. If we have already mobilised, no charge applies; we’ll reschedule when it suits you.
Single-visit treatments
If you cancel a booked treatment 48 hours or more before the scheduled visit, no fee applies — any deposit is refunded in full to the original payment method within 7 working days.
If you cancel within 48 hours, a re-mobilisation fee of RM 120 may apply to cover chemical preparation and crew scheduling. This will be disclosed at the time of the booking.
After the visit, if the treatment fails to deliver the result described in your treatment certificate within the 14-day re-inspection window, Dawnplex will return at no charge to re-treat. If the issue is still unresolved after two re-treatments we will refund the value of the affected service less reasonable chemical costs.
Plans & contracts
Residential quarterly plans, bi-monthly plans and commercial contracts may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice. Visits already delivered are non-refundable; the unused balance of a prepaid year is refunded pro-rata within 21 working days.
Warranty callbacks
Termite soil-barrier warranties (8 years) and rodent programme warranties (12 months) include unlimited free callbacks for the same species in the same zone. Warranty callbacks are not a refund — they are a re-treatment.
The warranty is voided when:
- Other pesticides are applied to the warranted zone without our knowledge.
- Structural changes (renovations, extensions) breach the treated boundary without notice.
- Annual or biennial inspection appointments are repeatedly missed.
Deposits
Deposits paid for paid surveys, materials orders or pre-construction termite treatments are refundable up to the point of crew dispatch. After dispatch, refunds are calculated against chemicals already used and labour already deployed.
Refund mechanics
Refunds are issued to the original payment method (FPX, online banking transfer, credit card or cheque). Processing time is 5–7 working days for FPX/credit card and up to 14 working days for cheque. Where the original method is unavailable we will issue by bank transfer to a verified account in the client’s name only.
Disputes
If you’re unhappy with a treatment result or with how a refund has been handled, please email [email protected] with “Refund dispute” in the subject and a brief description. Our operations lead will personally call you back within two working days.
If we still can’t agree, you have the right to take the complaint to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia) under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
